Sarah became my coach in April 2019 and enhanced my running and routine in all the best ways. With my first few ultras coming up, Sarah knew exactly what I needed and helped me achieve far more than I thought I could. Sarah is so positive and encouraging with any goal I set myself and helps me get there through fun and exciting plans - I haven't not enjoyed one run yet!
We have continuous contact and I always get pre-race advice and tips as well as routes planned for when I travel to London and other places. I can't recommend signing up for coaching by Sarah enough for anyone who wants to get to that next level and just be able to place their trust in someone else who definitely knows what they are talking about!

A coach that has your back all the way to the finish

I contacted Sarah when I was looking for a coach that would believe in me and was willing to help me fulfil my dream of finishing my first ever 100 mile race. I found that and far more in Sarah. She is always there for me and has my back covered no matter what. Thanks to her WE BOTH MADE IT to the finish line of that 100 mile race even though we were not even in the same country that day. I came 1st woman thanks to Sarah’s great advice and support even during the race. The training I receive from Sarah is incredible. “Race to the Tower prep”

Sarah began helping me with my running in April 2019, while I was in the midst of preparing for Race to the Tower, my first ultra. I had found myself in a bit of a funk training-wise, had fallen behind schedule and was not really seeing the fitness gains I was hoping for. I also had a couple of niggles holding me back, and was unsure how to progress, taking these into account. Sarah very quickly got me back on track and re-instilled me with the confidence to tackle RTTT, and two months later, thanks in no small part to her thoughtful and imaginative programming and encouragement, I completed it.
It says a lot that Sarah was sending me supportive messages during the race, completely unrequested.
She's made a big difference to my running in only 3 months or so, and I’d have no hesitation recommending her to someone looking for a coach. She’s great at listening and taking on board your plans, aims, worries etc, is always on hand with advice and insight, and has a positive, calm, and relaxed demeanour that makes her a pleasure to work with.

“Marathon training”

I started working with Sarah in May 2019 after running my first marathon and deciding I wanted to get much better at running and especially marathons. Sarah has done an amazing job of giving me varied weeks and always being careful to adjust when I had some niggles. Her plans included getting to know my pace and heart rate and then using these to guide me through each week. After I tore my hamstring she worked in with the guidance from my physio and recommended one for a second opinion and got me building up the mileage and speed safely got me back to a 10k PB to finish the year with. Sarah continued training me through the winter with some fun and varied workout and so I started 2020 in the best shape I have ever been. She used the workouts to increase my confidence so I could be mentally prepared to successfully run a half marathon PB at the Big Half (just before the lockdown started) at a pace I could only dream about 18 months before. I am still working with Sarah and even during the lock down she has been endlessly inventive whether it is with helping with new routes (even planning them for me), helping with ideas for routes when travelling, paces, time trials, some fun interval training and even making me love hills :-) Sarah has remained so supportive and encouraging throughout and has been great at helping me achieve all I wanted to achieve!
